Love this!!! I love how the two black forms seem to be holding the red in place, but it also seems as if the red is being squeezed. I see this as symbolic of the feminine (the red) being held/squeezed by the masculine (the black forms). Beautiful!

Beautiful work --sister! LOL!
Geoffrey Agrons commented on September 21, 2012 2:34pm
Pegeen solved the puzzle. ALL the women artists on S6 are highly evolved.

And Jacqueline - you're so right, that pink seems to be squeezed in there, it always takes me a while to get out of my original interpretation. With this one I think it's my stubbornness in not wanting to let the masculine into something that was pure African goddess in my mind. :)
Jacqueline Maldonado commented on September 24, 2012 6:59am
Oh - don't let me sway you! Maybe I was having a bad day with my husband when I saw this first! I can look at it again and see it differently - as I can with many of your works. That's what I love about your work... I can revisit and and be enlightened all over again.
Heather Goodwind commented on September 24, 2012 1:19pm
Thanks Jacqueline, I always love to be swayed - I really shouldn't fight it because life is more interesting that way. :)
