So beautiful, Liam. This shot reminds me of similar rivers and streams in "my mountains," the Appalachians of N.GA, W.NC, & E.TN. (from which so many Welsh, British and Scots-Irish descendants, like me, hail.) I had the great privilege of studying for a summer quarter at Bangor when in college. I want to return for the first time, and Christmas may be the time. I would rent a car and explore N. Wales (as I did not have the chance to do while a student). Your wonderful photos have confirmed a longing in my spirit to do so. Any suggestions? Of course, I would start in Bangor, I suppose. I know I want to see the Marble Church and St. Asaph’s Cathedral. Another stop would be Rachel’s Dairy in Aberystwyth. Would you take a train from London or, instead, fly into Liverpool or another destination? Thank you so kindly for your beautiful photos, Songlaw (WEJ)

Thank you Songlaw, so kind of you to say so. It's a beautiful part of the country although I have not been for a few years now. Renting a car as you say would definitely be the way to do it, then you can visit and stop where you like. I wish you a good trip if you do head over. All the best!
