The 80s gave us lots of a great toys. Heroes were good, righteous, and sadly, a bit bland; villains, on the other hand, were cunning, charismatic, and often comical. There were a number of plastic villains we all had to have—villains who schemed to invade our sister's tea parties, raid the cookie jar and terrorize the family cat.

This artwork is a tribute to those toys.

Your best work yet! Thank you for taking me back in time. I remember the Vader figure with the retractable light saber that would bend or lose it tip. Not mine. I took good care of my toys. Cobra Commander and the action figures from He-Man, Transformers and Thundercats. It's an action figure party. P.S. I don't recognize the ninja like figure in the group.

Thanks for the kind words! And that's Teeanage Mutant Ninja Turtle's Shredder, circa 1986. He's a little beyond my toy-playing years, but for many guys I know ranks as one of the most popular toy villains.
