ABOUT THE ART
Rosalind Franklin was a British biophysicist and X-ray crystallographer whose research was vital in contributing to our understanding of the molecular structures of DNA, RNA, viruses, coal, and graphite.
Her X-ray diffraction images and interpretation thereof, led to the establishment of the DNA double helix model. Sadly, credit for her work has not matched the fundamental importance of her contributions.
