ABOUT THE ART
Graydon Carter, the editor of Vanity Fair, recently wrote about how he’s been referring to Trump as a “short-fingered vulgarian” for the past 25 years. He explained that he initially did it as a response to Trump’s bullying and self-aggrandizing persona. "Like so many bullies, Trump has skin of gossamer. He thinks nothing of saying the most hurtful thing about someone else, but when he hears a whisper that runs counter to his own vainglorious self-image, he coils like a caged ferret. Just to drive him a little bit crazy, I took to referring to him as a “short-fingered vulgaria.” My favorite part of this story is that Trump has, on several occasions, mailed Carter photos of himself with his hands circled to try and highlight the length of his fingers.
