Choose from a variety of frame styles, colors and sizes to compliment your favorite Society6 gallery, or fine art print - made ready to hang. Fine-crafted from solid woods, premium shatterproof acrylic protects the face of the art print, while an acid free dust cover on the back provides a custom finish. All framed art prints include wall hanging hardware.

Hello good people of S6 ~ At the end of September I participated in a Plein Air competition, show and sale with hundreds of other artists. This is one of the pieces. It was a challenge for me considering the way I usually approach my artwork and learned a lot about my process (or lack there of:). We were required to visit at least 3 designated locations. Each day you checked in, had your paper or canvas stamped and then turned it in at the end of the day matted and framed (in my case).

This is a dogwood tree at the absolutely majestic Mt. Cuba Center near me in New Castle County, DE (very similar to Chester County where I live). It doesn't do it justice by a long shot, but it's color and beauty inspired me.

This is very beautiful, Angela. I'd like to take a bite out of it. I suspect that would be inappropriate.

This one is particularly yummy (ditto Geoffrey), it waivers back and forth between landscape and candy and is so lush and beautiful. A new favorite!

Thanks everyone~ Such nice comments! There are 5 others from this event, which I might post. I'm glad to appeal to multiple senses, Geoffrey and Heather. I used to have a page on my website called Eye Candy ... and a blog Feed Your Vision (which I rarely post on:) maybe I'll bring it back ~ Thanks for mentioning the grass Elizabeth ... I added that just moments before I had to leave and hand it in ~

Love this one. Angela, I especially like the way you make some of your colors sort of "milky" like the red in the tree shape.
