I really enjoy your use of color in your work. It's unexpected and vibrant. :)

The face looks familiar here, did you use a photo reference of a model or actor?

^doh! Sorry, I somehow missed the description that says "Inspired by Pauline Darley photography & model Sóley Sigurþórs!" I think so few artists provide anything in the Description area that I just forgot to look. whoops. :)

Thanks for providing info on your inspiration and reference. I always like learning more about artwork. I personally also find it more professional and trustworthy when artists note the photos they've referenced. It gives credit to other creatives (photographer, model) who helped make the artwork possible through inspiration or duplication.

Thanks also for including the link to your video. :) It's remarkable to see your process and I appreciate the time it takes to film, edit and upload a video like that. On a side note, seeing working videos makes me feel more secure purchasing art from you because I know you're not ripping off someone else or faking it. ;)

Now the problem has been deciding which artwork to purchase. Excruciating to choose.

Oh, I forgot to thank you for introducing me to photographer Pauline Darley. Love her style.

And FWIW I think you did an amazing portrait here. Looking at the original photo I can see this was loosely inspired by it, but you brought so emotion and life to to your portrait, as well as so much of your own style. It's clear you took a reference and turned it into original art. :)

That's ENOUGH out of me. ;)
