Starry Yaga Land is a continuation of the "Starry Yaga" series. An acrylic piece inspired by Russian folklore and one of it's principle characters; Baba yaga. A cannibal with iron teeth and skeleton legs, her mode of transportation is a mortar. She lives in a hut deep in the forest. The hut has large chicken legs and can spin around and walk. This is Gina Martynova's depiction of the antagonist with the additional influences of Chinese landscape and Japanese Ukiyo-E prints.
