ABOUT THE ART
Taj Mahal. I was lucky enough to visit the Taj Mahal, it was years ago but it is one of those places that you never forget. The Taj Mahal is beautiful and peaceful, quite the contrast to the busy city of Agra.
The mausoleum is very white, especially from a distace. I decided to draw this with splashes of color, influenced by the sun and sky.
An edited quote from wikipedia... The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
