ABOUT THE ART
The Last Unicorn is a fantasy novel written by Peter S. Beagle and published in 1968. It has sold more than five million copies worldwide since its original publication, and has been translated into at least twenty languages. Later in 1982 it was transformed into a fully animated fantasy film
The third-person narrative centers on a unicorn who, believing she is the last of her kind in the world, sets off on a journey to discover what has happened to the others. She encounters a host of diverse characters as her journey progresses, each of them bringing her closer to her goal.
The lady Amalthea is one of the truest to form innocent heroines. Yet even though her time as a human was brief her experience will forever distinguish her from the rest of her kind.
I guess I kind of like how it shows the effects of change. The consequences and splendors of pursuing your goals. The Last Unicorn gained much from her journey but also had to sacrifice just as much if not more.
