Propaganda is a strong motif in Bioshock Infinite and manifested in various ways. Demonization is a tactic used to turn people subhuman or evil and was utilized by The Founders, especially the Fraternal Order of the Raven, against Lincoln. This was prominent in the paintings that hung in their headquarters.

Another propaganda tactic is the use of famous and beloved dead people as puppets to tie to an agenda. Infinite took that concept and ran with it, turning founding fathers into automatons that symbolized a group's beliefs and did their bidding…at the barrel-end of a gatling gun.

Both of these tactics are a form of character manipulation and were used to create one of my favorite things in the game, the "Evil Lincoln" depiction.
