Tokyo storefront #08 Canvas Print

Canvas Print

Tokyo storefront #08

by Mateusz Urbanowicz

Fine art print on bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.

Eight piece in my “Tokyo Storefront” watercolour illustration series. This alcohol shop is located in Tokyo’s Mejiro district and even though it doesn’t look like this from the outside it was build before the 2nd World War in 1933! Of course the vending machines where added quite recently (the left one is really old though) but the inside is still as it was made originally!

Technical stuff:

- Medium: HOLBEIN Waterford white 300g/m cotton paper
- Lines: COPIC Multiliner SP 0.7mm
- Colours: My watercolours set explained in my blog’s FAQ

This is a scan of a painting, so there can be some paper texture and other marks of the analogue process visible, but I tried to make it as clean as possible.
