Totem Poleby Kim Rose Adams
ABOUT THE ART
Often, hidden beauties lay before our eyes, if only we can find the time to actually gaze and not just glance. I have biked past this totem pole numerous times in the city of Eugene and discovered it only weeks before I moved away. Inspired by old hand-colored postcards, I left the background foliage in an infrared state and selectively colored the carved wood figures of art on the totem pole in the foreground.
