The self, the real entity that I feel myself to be is always split between a conscious side, a mind that is accessible & an unconscious side, which remains inaccessible (Lacan, Écrits, 1966). With no way to fully access the unconscious, I can at least imagine the notion of my consciousness transcending into my unconsciousness to access the inaccessible content of my mind. Such would lead to the supreme consciousness, a stream of constant, unquestionable awareness providing absolute access to all of the content within my mind. Perhaps, the notion brought forth would contribute to the collapse of my whole entity & destroy the sense of human curiosity that is kept alive by the unknown. Perhaps it would lead to the enlightenment. This series is the visual realization of those contemplations.
