Around 1888, you couldn't go anywhere without seeing this flyer Vincent Van Gogh put up. It was on every lamp post.

In reality, Van Gogh lost his ear. For the longest time, it was believed he cut it off, then gave it to a prostitute in a fit of madness. More recently some have speculated it was cut off by his friend Gauguin (why I included him on the flyer)

Either way, this is a design for all the art history nerds out there. Hope you enjoy it!
