I grew up in a cabin my family built. I drew pictures at the dining room table while my parents installed windows and erected walls around me. That's where I developed a drawing habit. At sixteen I began working freelance illustration. I received my formal education at the Art Institute of Seattle. Upon graduation, I designed and Illustrated at Cranium, a Seattle based game company. In 2002, I was hired as a full-time graphic designer for Lee Enterprises. Presently, I design magazine spreads, book covers, brochures, newspaper journals, promotional materials, logos and web elements for Lee. In 2005, I started quickjosh.com, a commercial illustration and graphic design business. Clients have included the following: Wilco, Knitting Factory Entertainment, The Gourds, Hank III, Minneapolis City Pages, The University of Montana, Spiker Communications, The Missoula Art Museum, City of Missoula, and Big Dipper Ice Cream. I look to the future when I acquire exciting projects that will benefit from my creative vision, passion and experience.
