Beth Violette Sheerin is a Commercial Interior Designer, she graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 1987. Her Interior Design career included many high profile retail projects for Macy's Store Design and Estee Lauders' Prescriptives in NY, and Disney's Imagineering in Orlando, Florida. For the past 20 years Beth has loved living in Beautiful Winter Park, Florida. The artist in her has always searched for an outlet, this search has included so many mediums including Lithography, Printmaking, Bookmaking, Photography, Polaroid Transfers, Knitting, Crochet, Acrylic Painting, Fingerpainting, Jewelry Design and Refinishing discarded furniture. Beth has truly found a soul mate in Collage because it allows her to upcycle salvaged materials that she collected over the years. The papers are from local businesses, books, music and an abundance of all types of paper from her Grandma’s House. Currently Beth shares studio space with a long time local artist, Lorraine Lax. Some recent places where Beth’s art has been sold are “The Polka Dot Flea Market” in Orlando,FL, “The Big Crafty” in Asheville, NC and on Etsy (look for her as REfindArtisan).
