CREATIVE CONSULTANT DESIGNER, PHOTOGRAPHER, ARTIST

With four years of professional experience, Mai Ismail has worked as a visual artist, art director and designer. His specialty is brand development, which includes responsibilities, such as branding with logos and typography, and the organization of campaigns; photo shoots concepts for both online platforms and print. Mai also has additional experience, managing large artistic departments on various Much Music productions, as well as art directing within the fashion industry for TOM* (Toronto Men’s Fashion Week) in 2014. Mai attained his design foundation Centennial College in 2011, which has taught him the technical fundamentals alongside creativity. With a wide range of skills and knowledge Mai is able to quickly adapt to any given position and task.

Mai’s skills include but are not limited to drawing; photography and proficiency with contemporary and analogue photo equipment, digital editing for both video and photo (Adobe Suites), understanding various social media platforms, graphic design and basic website design. Joining the small fashion accessories brand MARONxox in 2013 has given artisanal experience in fashion design pattern drafting and textile sourcing; illustration and the construction and sewing of original one-of-a-kind garments. Mai has a fresh young enthusiasm, mixed with a passion rooted in fashion history and tradition.
