Runk the Skunk

Maryrose Runk is a Filipino American visual artist currently living in Baltimore, MD. Originally from South Central Pennsylvania, she has learned mostly from hands on experience, or has been self-taught. Upon leaving high school, she worked in a photo lab, and hand painted luxury crystalware. She also held many other odd jobs until finally working full time as a manufacturing jeweler with her father in 2009. Maryrose has been heavily involved in the local art scene with several solo and group shows, collaborations with other artists, and various voluntary community projects. While silversmithing is her main focus, her other preferred mediums are: acrylic and watercolor paints, ink, charcoal, 35mm film, and some paper collage work as well. In February 2017, she moved to Baltimore hoping to expand her silversmithing and artistic career. Runk the Skunk joined Society6 on August 9, 2014
