Michigan/New Mexico artist Jane W. Turner spent most of her career as a potter. Her fascination with the movement of colors in glazes led to an interest in the similar animation of colors in watercolor painting. She now divides her time between making functional pottery and painting.
In her 2 dimensional work, Jane uses digital and traditional mediums to express her love of dogs and nature by creating canine portraits and landscape, snow people and abstract images. A portion of her sales is donated to animal shelters and rescue groups.
