Victoria is an illustrator from Texas who has moved, and is currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she is earning her BFA in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art + Design! Her body of work ranges from intricate line work based on character and concept, to colorful renditions of whimsical fairytale like creatures. Narratives about childhood and the transition into adulthood, during which toys and fantasies are left behind are ideals that inspire much of her work. Her art has undertones of morbid surrealism, through color (or vice versa), while referring to the anxieties of childhood as explored in fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Primary media used in the work she creates is pen and ink to watercolor and gauche.
