SmAshcroft

SmAshcroft has worked exclusively in the Arts and Cultural sector of Winnipeg. She is a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist involved in the media and Visual Arts. She has received local, national, and international exposure through publication, broadcast, film festivals, and public presentations. As a painter, filmmaker, installation artist, performer and musician, with the defunct punk band SHRIMP, Ashcroft is known for her antagonistic stance, dark sense of humour, and blunt force trauma use of a paintbrush. Most recently Ashcroft received rave reviews for her solo installation called, LET IT BURN an installation about grief suicide and depression. SmAshcroft joined Society6 on November 30, 2014
