Hi, I'm Stacey. I'm an Archetypal Paradoxical Independent Soulful Cool Driven Artist Type. I have been creating art since childhood where my artist grandmother took me under her wing and showed me skills such as painting, pottery, photography and printmaking. I like to paint with oils and palette knives. I love playing with the texture of oils and blending simplicities with complexities. I have taken numerous art classes in school, but ended up getting my MA in Psychology and becoming a career counselor for awhile. I am told I have the gift of guidance. But I have found my way from the desk job back to Art and have started Local Art Productions. The purpose of LAP is to produce art shows for all of the amazing local artists who are looking for a way to connect to an audience. I am a member of the Marin Arts Council, California Arts Council and the RAW Natural Born Artist Guild. Recently I have devoted myself to the goal of bringing original art into homes, no matter the household income. I believe that surrounding yourself with creativity breeds inspiration which everyone could use more of.
