Strawb3rryBomb

Strawb3rryBomb Creative Studio is the combination of a growing body of work, a passionate and creative mind, (that's me), and an incredibly supportive network of friends and family. Growing up I was fortunate to have open-minded and highly-supportive parents. I could share with them all of my ideas and they would encourage me to pursue them, only stipulating that I always try my best. My first love was drawing and from a young age I wanted to be an "artist." As I grew I began noticing the beauty of the world around me and tried desperately to capture it in photographs, taking pictures everywhere I went. An amazing art teacher and a darkroom photography class in high school helped to refine my talents, bringing substance and technique into my drawings and images. College was a time of deep heartache, (with the loss of my Mother) and personal growth, and gave new depth to my art. I learned more about myself as an artist: what I'm drawn to, where my natural talents lie and, with the help of some truly gifted and inspiring mentors, how to open myself up and allow myself into my work. It was then that I discovered how important color is to me personally and artistically and my "first love" drawing grew into a passion for painting. Now days I paint and photograph, and even crochet, as ways of expressing my thoughts and feelings, documenting my world and even as a means of escape. I feel blessed to possess the ability to create and want to use my work to fill the world with more beauty and inspire others. It is with this wish that I, with the help and support of my amazing and talented fiancé, created Strawb3rryBomb Creative Studio. Your patronage gives me to the opportunity to continue to work and grow, as well as fulfill my childhood dream of being an "artist," so that I may invest all of my time and energy into my artwork. As always, I will try my best as I run this shop. Strawb3rryBomb joined Society6 on April 23, 2014
