Congrats on this collaboration! How did it come about?
Thank you! It came through my agency, Central Illustration Agency, in London, after Sandra's team discovered my work via Pinterest.
Did you have to create original work to be featured, or did they want to use illustrations you had previously made?
She had a very clear plan, a brief based on the concept of a warrior woman, so all three designs were especially created for her.
How does it feel to see your artwork turned into such beautiful garments?
It feels awesome! i wanted to be a fashion designer when I was little, and I still dwell on the idea from time to time. Seeing the outcome of my illustrations being transformed into beautiful garments is like a superwarm hug, I got there somehow by just staying true to myself.
What is your personal style like? Would you ever wear something with one of your prints on it?
I mostly wear black and grey, but I wish I could pull off patterns and a little bit more color.
Your work is very whimsical and magical. What inspires you the most?
My inspiration comes mostly from observing nature and foreign aesthetic. I travel quite a lot and I love diving into discovering details that might, at some point, be crucial to my stylistic direction.
Who would be your dream person/company to collaborate with?
Just lots of other fashion or interior designers!
