You recently returned from speaking at OFFF festival in Barcelona, having logged 2,500 miles of the United States aboard hopped freight trains before that. Have your exploits outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan made you a better person or art maker?
I certainly hope so, but who’s to say? I can only speculate about what kind of person I’d be if I’d anchored down in Grand Rapids more. I would be cleaner, I know that...

We're stoked to announce that we've just upgraded our Totes to include three new sizes, and printing that allows artwork to cover the entire surface of the bag! That's right, more space for more art.
These quality crafted tote bags are hand sewn and printed in America using durable, yet lightweight, poly poplin fabric. Available in 13" x 13", 16" x 16" and 18" x 18" variations, the upgraded bags are washable, feature artwork on both sides and a sturdy 1" wide cotton webbing strap for comfortably carrying over your shoulder.
We are now using your Throw Pillow asset to create the new Tote Bags. For those of you already selling Throw Pillows on Society6, these new Tote Bags have automatically been activated for you. If you are selling Totes but not yet selling Throw Pillows, we have automatically cropped your Art Print to create both of these products. In either case you can easily edit the asset.
We encourage you to please take a moment to review how your new Tote Bag display. If you need to EDIT these for any reason (i.e. resizing or repositioning artwork), just click "ADD T-SHIRTS & MORE" at the top of any post to easily edit all products that accompany your Art Prints.
Today, we get a peek inside the head of Canadian artist, Luke Ramsey.

We're looking for 12 artists from Society6 to represent the 12 months of 2014 in our first-ever limited edition calendar!
Some things to help you navigate this collaboration:
1. Please click the purple "apply" button only if you will contribute work if selected. You must apply by no later than October 11th to be eligible to participate.
2. If you are selected, you will be required to create a spread for one of the calendar months. The spread will include one piece of artwork AND your own interpretation of the calendar grid for the days of that month.
3. You are not required to create new artwork to be eligible, but we will encourage the 12 artists that are ultimately selected to make new art (or at least rarely seen before).
4. You will be notified via email for inclusion in this first edition calendar, as well as the accompanying collection that will later be featured in the Society6 store.
Updates to follow as we go...thanks everyone.
