Introducing Mini and Small Fine Art Prints on Society6
For those of you working at smaller scale and not able to meet the previous artwork file size requirements, we are proud to bring you two new products - Mini and Small sized Fine Art Prints!

Maintaining only the highest standards in materials and production that you've come to rely on with our Gallery quality Giclée art prints, the 'Mini' and 'Small' Fine Art Prints are also of exceptional quality...only smaller.

The Mini and Small Fine Art Prints are designed for people without a lot of wall space, as well as an even more affordable option for you to offer your customers.

For the tech heads out there, you can learn about the differences between our Gallery Art Prints (Medium, Large, X-Large art prints) and our NEW Fine Art Prints (Mini and Small art prints) here:

For those of you already selling Art Prints on Society6, these two new sizes have automatically been activated for you along with the profit that you had previously set on your Medium sized prints.

We encourage you to click "Edit" from the top of any of your product posts to check your profit settings on these new sizes and make any adjustments accordingly.

Enjoy the little things in life!
Society6 Stretched Canvas - a day in the life

We wanted to give everyone a look behind the scenes where we hand make all of your Stretched Canvases (and other products) one at a time, when they're ordered.

We respect all the hard work that goes into creating your art, and we apply the same level of craftsmanship when we produce your products too. That's why we want to show you just how hands-on we are. Take a look at the new video we put together. View it on "Our Products" page.

We'll be making more videos soon too, so we can show how it all gets done. Thanks again for being a part of Society6!

Tip$: Top Sellers' Secrets Revealed
If you are not yet selling your work as products on Society6, please click here to learn more about getting started

Here's a quick checklist that you can reference when getting your products ready and working to generate healthier sales:

1. Learn about pricing and categorizing your work to sell

2. Make sure you prepare your artwork files correctly, before making a Post. Placement of your files for T-shirts is key. Be sure to carefully check your previews and adjust the file if necessary. Also, please don't add white borders to your prints, we do that for you when we print them. More on file preparation for prints here and for t-shirts here

3. Link your Twitter account, so that your Society6 Posts automatically become updates on your Twitter account. Enable Twitter at

4. Link your Facebook page, so that your Society6 Posts automatically become updates on your Facebook feed. Enable Facebook at

5. Use your personalized display banner to easily display all of the products that you are selling on Society6 within your own site or blog. Grab your dynamic banner at

6. Be sure to add the other products (t-shirts, iPhone Cases and more) to accompany each and round out your product mix. You are automatically prompted to do this with each new product post. You can go back and "Add T-shirts & more" by editing any previous product post.

7. Create a shop on your site. Many top selling members display their Society6 items on their own site and link to their store on Society6.

8. When you make a new product post, tell people about it. The best way to get your first sale is to notify the people already familiar with your work. Simply email the link to your Society6 Store, so that everyone knows your art prints, iPhone Cases, t-shirts and other products are now available for purchase!

We hope this is helpful! Please feel free to share your tips for selling too, right here in the comments.
Superheroes Group Show Details
We're really looking forward to your contribution to Superheroes, a group art show collaboration between D-Structure and Society6.

Superheroes transcend age, gender, and location. Every young boy and girl dreams of the awesome and magnificent. From our childhood comic book collections to our fascination with superheroes in popular culture. This is a chance for you to interpret the wonderment of Superheroes how you see fit (or completely misfit)!

All you have to do is 'apply' for the collaboration, create your Superheroes inspired piece, and post it to your Studio for sale as an art print. We'll then curate both the final collection that will be displayed as a group show at D-Structure San Francisco opening Friday, May 6th 2011, as well as an extended virtual collection that will be featured in the Society6 Shop sometime in April.

Some directions to help you navigate this collaboration:

1. Please apply for Superheroes, only if you at least intend to contribute. You do not have to be physically present in San Francisco to participate, all S6 members are encouraged to contribute.
2. Create your piece and post it to your Studio at anytime, but by no later than Friday, March 11th to be considered for the group show and the virtual collection.
3. Please use "Superheroes SF" as the title of your post.

Along with D-Structure and some other special guests, we'll be curating the final collection as we go.
