Encouraging People to Sea Life

Samantha McInnis was born on the west coast of Florida in Dunedin. Growing up, her parents raised her to always appreciate and respect the natural world around her. She loves working in porcelain because it makes her feel a connection to the earth, similar to treasure hunting for shells at the beach. Her wish is for her work to always encourage people to take care of our oceans and coastlines.

Samantha received her BFA in ceramics from Florida Atlantic University in 2011 and worked at a ceramic studio shortly after teaching wheel classes and children classes. After being there for two years and gaining a world of knowledge, she now has a small shared studio in Deerfield Beach.
