Impermanence of our existence and the process we undergo in our conscious and unconscious evolution, conflict of desire versus necessity, and the struggle to obtain a sense of place are the underlying philosophies and inspiration in my work.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics from Springfield College in 2003 and studied Audio Production at the Art Institute of New England. Currently I exhibit new work monthly as a collective member at Delurk Gallery in downtown Winston-Salem. In addition to my work within the collective, I instruct mixed-media painting techniques and abstract painting courses/workshops at the Sawtooth School for Visual Arts and work on creative projects as a freelance artist.
