I also knit, crochet, and have limited success attempting to grow a vegetable garden. I grew up in New England and attended both the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Boston University, for graphic design and art history. I've been fortunate to live in several places, including the Boston area, the White Mountains in New Hampshire, and coastal Virginia. Currently, I live in Morehead City, on the coast in North Carolina. My partner, Jon, and I have a beautfiul home on 10 acres of property that we share with our four very spoilt German Shepherds, Panzer, Sasha, Otto and Odin, and a small flock of Chickens.

I started watercolor painting back in 2001 and have tried various art techniques, such as acrylic painting, oil painting and digital art. But painting with watercolors is still my favorite and most used technique. Therefore, many of my illustrations are in watercolor style.
