Olivia's love of nature and passion for photography are intertwined, resulting in happy landscapes and modern botanicals. I'm an American realist painter and found-objects sculptor who studied fine art at Parsons School of Design (Class of 2020). Since graduating, my work has become more commission-based and focused on calming subject matters with vibrant colors. I worked as the assistant of an art consultant who put artwork in hospitals and other corporate settings that required research into cool and calming works. I currently work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Each print has been professionally scanned so that each of the original work's details and canvas textures have been preserved.

I specialize in creating unique and visually stunning map illustrations. I pay special attention to detail and artistic flair to bring maps to life, making them both beautiful and informative. In each design I attempt to capture the essence of a place and convey it through illustrations, expressing it through amazing Society6 printing techniques.

Photography has long been a favorite past time of mine and is a journey that began in earnest with a two week road trip through California during college. Using a small, 35mm, 'point and shoot' film camera I was able to capture some of my first quality, lasting images and have been hooked ever since. Over the years, cameras and equipment have come and gone but my aim has remained the same - to capture with a still, two dimensional image the beauty that is everywhere around us - nature, buildings, our everyday surroundings - but that is often overlooked. As an avid adventurer and outdoor enthusiast, I pursue photography for the pure fun of it and the happiness, challenge, creativity, and exposure to the natural and man-made world that it provides me in return. My camera has become an essential element while on remote mountain hikes, exploring cities and towns or when traveling the country and around the world. When I shoot, I seek to capture interesting and striking elements of the natural or man-made world in such a way that the viewer has an emotional connection to the image and is able to escape from their daily routine and feel as if they were experiencing these awe-inspiring moments and places in person. My photography primarily focuses on my observations of the landscape - both natural and man-made. While I have traveled worldwide, the spectacular and diverse landscapes of the western United States are some of my favorite locations, due to their seemingly endless subjects and creative possibilities in varying seasons and conditions. As a result, while my portfolio contains images from across the United States and around the globe, it has a particular emphasis on the western United States. Being based in Denver, Colorado many of my photographs are of scenic Colorado landscapes or wildlife that I have enjoyed taking during various backcountry adventures - hiking a remote mountain peak, exploring an alpine meadow or waterfall, or driving a quiet, rural road - always with camera in hand. Through my photography I endeavor to capture brief moments from the beautiful places I travel and I hope at least a small sense of their wonder comes through in the images you see here. For me, photography is a never ending journey of exploration, education, challenge, creativity, and fun - one which I invite you to share with me.

He is an avid outdoorsman and mountaineer, and his artwork "draws" heavily from his extensive travels to remote and mountainous regions of the globe. He is now armed with artist's pens, and his unique perspectives of the natural world have transformed from being viewed through night vision to being captured captured on sketch paper.
