Photography Art Prints

Photography has long been a favorite past time of mine and is a journey that began in earnest with a two week road trip through California during college. Using a small, 35mm, 'point and shoot' film camera I was able to capture some of my first quality, lasting images and have been hooked ever since. Over the years, cameras and equipment have come and gone but my aim has remained the same - to capture with a still, two dimensional image the beauty that is everywhere around us - nature, buildings, our everyday surroundings - but that is often overlooked. As an avid adventurer and outdoor enthusiast, I pursue photography for the pure fun of it and the happiness, challenge, creativity, and exposure to the natural and man-made world that it provides me in return. My camera has become an essential element while on remote mountain hikes, exploring cities and towns or when traveling the country and around the world. When I shoot, I seek to capture interesting and striking elements of the natural or man-made world in such a way that the viewer has an emotional connection to the image and is able to escape from their daily routine and feel as if they were experiencing these awe-inspiring moments and places in person. My photography primarily focuses on my observations of the landscape - both natural and man-made. While I have traveled worldwide, the spectacular and diverse landscapes of the western United States are some of my favorite locations, due to their seemingly endless subjects and creative possibilities in varying seasons and conditions. As a result, while my portfolio contains images from across the United States and around the globe, it has a particular emphasis on the western United States. Being based in Denver, Colorado many of my photographs are of scenic Colorado landscapes or wildlife that I have enjoyed taking during various backcountry adventures - hiking a remote mountain peak, exploring an alpine meadow or waterfall, or driving a quiet, rural road - always with camera in hand. Through my photography I endeavor to capture brief moments from the beautiful places I travel and I hope at least a small sense of their wonder comes through in the images you see here. For me, photography is a never ending journey of exploration, education, challenge, creativity, and fun - one which I invite you to share with me.

Hi, my name is Enric and I'm the man behind 27MM, my underwater photography project. I was born on an island in the Mediterranean Sea and that's why my life has always been linked to the sea. But it's from 2009 when I begin to document the underwater landscapes, the marine life and also the relationship with the human being. Having my island as a base I begin to travel the world looking for new seas and oceans to tell a photographic history that pretends to be an iconography of my relationship with the sea. Capturing moments of my real experience with the sea, but taken to the non-representative. To get a clean and minimalist result, just leaving the essential elements to convey my feelings underwater.

Hello, my name is Heather and I appreciate you stopping by to learn a little bit more about me. I grew up in Minnesota and spent most weekends and summers of my childhood on my grandparents farm. It was an amazing childhood. Where using creativity and imagination was encouraged and fostered. My cousins and I dreamed of all kinds of wonderful ways to entertain ourselves. We built forts in the hay loft, created "beautiful" rock collections from what we could find on the gravel driveway and carved scrap wood, which we found around the farm, into gifts for our parents. We made friendship bracelets for each other (and some of our favorite animals), played hide and seek in the cornfields and helped our grandma knot old fashion quilts. During the long Minnesota winters, we would go out into fields and built the best sledding tracks and jumps to be found within the county. It laid the foundation..... I first dabbled with photography in high school but my love and obsession with it really began about 15 years ago when I bought my first digital camera. Coming from a long line of artist and crafters, I have myself explored many artistic mediums. I enjoyed them all but with the purchase of that first digital camera, the artist in me finally came alive! My heart was captured by the beauty and wonder that I could create with my camera and post processing and there was no turning back. Fast forward.... I moved to New Orleans in my 20's and settled in St. Louis after Hurricane Katrina blew me north. During my time in New Orleans I fell in love with the city that inspired me to capture her beauty. And here we are.... Briole Photography is my "second, full time job". Many hours are spent each week editing photographs, learning new techniques, listing items, filling orders, promoting and connecting with other artist. The most rewarding part of business is connecting with you, the customer. It gives me so much joy when I receive a message from a customer saying that my art reminds them of a special place or that they love their print. It has been beyond a wonderful and rewarding experience! To sum it all up. I photograph the places and things in this world that I love and find beautiful.
