I am so excited to be here on Society6.

I started my business in 2011, hand painting wood signs with inspiring quotes. This grew into hand painting T-shirts and pillow cases too.

I love the power of uplifting words and I love the reactions people have when they see my work and how the words can trigger an emotional response. Whether it is a quote from a children's book, a Bible verse, a hymn or song, or a quote from someone they admire, quotes can say so much when you might not have the right words yourself.

I am a stay at home mom to our three kids. I never thought of myself as creative, in fact I almost failed art in high school! After stopping work to stay home with our children, I wanted to redecorate all our children's rooms, and I had the challenge of doing this on a very tight budget. While repainting Craigslist finds for their rooms, my inner artist was born and I fell passionately in love with it!

I painted my first sign as a gift to my child's teacher, posted it on Facebook, and requests for more signs came pouring in. Suddenly a business was built. I feel very humbled and honored and truly blessed that this opportunity and talent has surfaced at this time in my life, and that I am able to do this from home while raising our children. I am honestly living my dream life, and am so grateful to each and every person who buys from me, promotes me, or even just encourages me through this adventure.

I have absolutely loved this journey I have been on. Now in 2015, our family is going through some transitions, meaning I have to slow down on my painting. But not offering my painting in some form would be devastating for me... so when I found this, offering my products on T-shirts, bags, mugs and more... well, let's just say I am so pleased that I can still offer my art to my customers, along with more options, and I get to spend more time with my kiddos.
