Photography and films have taken Caleb Ming to many places. For over a decade, Ming has been using these mediums to explore his surrounding people, spaces, things and ideas in both his commercial work and artistic practice.

What began as a means to escape stillness has become Ming’s tool to document the travels of his eye and mind. His images and films are visual collages of places — created out of spaces layered with a moment, a texture or a frame of mind — a methodology that reflects his training in graphic design.

The visuals he constructs intrigue, and allow one to contemplate. Taken in by his image’s space, one escapes through Ming’s eye to another place surrounded by his mind.
