About Vin Zzep: Transforming Passion into Art Welcome to my world of art! I'm Vin Zzep, a passionate graphic designer and artist dedicated to creating pieces that reflect the essence of my life and passions. My journey in the art world has been a thrilling adventure, marked by significant milestones and unforgettable experiences. In 2011, I had the privilege of hosting a one-person show featuring my paintings, which was a resounding success and led to numerous commissions. That same year, I ventured into the digital space, bringing my artwork to a global audience online. A landmark moment in my career came in 2016 when Google commissioned me to create ten large works for their new offices in Paris. This experience was transformative, teaching me the immense power of digital exposure and setting the stage for my full-time career in art. Embracing digital tools, I began crafting concept and surreal-based art using photography and advanced Photoshop techniques. 2017 was another exciting year when my piece "Brilliant Disguise" was featured on the hit show "Fixer Upper" by HSBC. This recognition was not only an honor but also a testament to the hard work and dedication I put into my craft. Behind every artist is a support system, and I am immensely grateful to my family and friends especially Catherine, Justine, Zaine, and my dog Buster for their unwavering support. Hi! I'm an artist & surface designer. Seamless patterns, funny, cute and vintage designs with or without sayings will primarily appear under Julia Frank brand. Vector illustrations and patterns are created in Adobe Illustrator. To digitize hand-drawn element, I use a Wacom drawing tablet. Photoshop is used to give special effects to some of my artworks. I'm a self-taught designer with an engineering mindset. It means I love to know HOW do things work and WHY they work in such a way. My inspiration primarily comes from traveling and seeing natural landscapes, lovely flowers, and other plants, cute animals and birds. I love to visit parks and botanical gardens to get inspiration as well. Sunny days give me more energy to create.
