Laura-Leigh Gillard (aka Granny Bird) is a self-taught visual artist born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario Canada.

Laura-Leigh's work is heavily influenced by her relationship with nature, herself, and those around her. Brightly coloured canvases adorned with birds, flowers, trees and moths represent powerful metaphors in the artist’s life.

Using art to create awareness is something Laura-Leigh feels very passionate about. An active volunteer, she enjoys conducting art fundraisers to help raise money for local charities and causes.
