I have always considered drawing as a hobby or an outlet through spontaneous achievements. In my first paintings, the color was more important than the line , it forms were created by combined staining. Very young , I have been influenced by expressionism and worked the color blends to create the shape . I have stopped painting for several years because, as sound engineer, musician and composer since 1994, I focused on making music for several years, which allowed me to explore the world of sound improvisation and the sound experimentation. (www.soundcloud.com/swingaling) I have continued to draw here and there on loose sheets, post-it, these drawings were each time a spontaneous emotional expression in a world gradually guided by itself. Therefore, the color was no longer necessary for the expression of the form, which by the Treaty, could remain open and has other forms combined to form a picture in a drawing, as with music, where each note of intrument has its place, but is mixed with other sounds and notes, which forms a whole. Since 2004 , I have decided to work in black and white . The years that followed , helped me to refine my technique for making and thicken my line in a street influenced comics in urban" panoramas " open on a futuristic fantasy world, the reading could be at any point of the canvas. Kinds of mini sequences encompassed in a whole. Also, the work on thick lines, led me to simplify my graphics and the purified achievements in tribal and shamanic influences, where animals are involved in a simple graphic wich can recall totems. A simple graphical harmonious balance, in a free figuration. Lover of women, our differences, but our similarities especially more evident in a modern society where she is the equal of man , today I use mostly black or white silhouettes representing only the contour thereof . Personal and anonymous , as it is always a woman, but also represents all women. This contour in an outlined flat silhouette is contrasted by a graphic fantasy "cloud", punctuated by mini sequences , but also small and purely aesthetic spontaneous graphics in a little sketch style. They are there to represent the depth , thoughts , creativity, but also the complexity of the modern woman. Influenced by movements such as pop art, street culture and figuration libre. By artists like Alechinsky, Basquiat, Haring, Combas Hasegawa . Graphic art between earth and concrete, and tribal street, borrowing dreams, urging the perception through everyone’s interior imagination . In a simple free figurative expression, I want to share and make the vision of my world and allow a mind to get lost in this imaginary world . Where the reading direction is left open and thus offers new possible reinterpretations.
