Hi there! I’m Olivia, artist of Olivia Merritt Art. I love creating bright, colorful paintings full of botanicals, bold colors, messages that need to be heard, patterns and elements of nature. I love to take inspiration from the beauty of the natural world, words, language, the human body, patterns and color.

I’ve been creating art in many different forms for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken classes in so many different mediums - acrylic, watercolor, oil, clay, paper mache (is that even a thing anymore?). In 2017, I started my first art business, selling greeting cards and prints. While it was successful, it was not what I was passionate about. When 2020 hit, I took time to work on myself, to look deeper into who I was and where I wanted to go with my creativity.

In September 2020, I launched Olivia Merritt Art. It’s been the truest journey of my life… I create from within. I create from my heart and I share my inner most world with you. May you find yourself within my art and know you are never alone in this world.
