In this ocean of life, the vessel you sail on is your body and the destination is your spirit. Dress it well.
The great poet, Rumi, told us a story of "the Jackal that Pretended to be a Peacock" in his book the Mathnawi. This delusional jackal was convinced he was a peacock because he had paint on his fur. His new colors distracted him from his own beauty which was burried underneath the paint. But most of all, it distracted him from the beauty of reality.
We can not attain our true beauty by pretending. We must erase the colors that distract us.
We create items of clothing to remind us of our own reality, which is our connection to the universe and everything that is in it.
Painted Jackal does not use these same colors of the jackal's blindness. Allow these creations to be your wormhole to the other dimensions. Let us be real peacocks!
