I believe that color has a magical effect and artistic elements are a great influence on the human emotion and soul. In this pursuit, I want to convey good, positive mood and energy through my paintings. My greatest inspiration comes from nature. In essence, My relentless pursuit is to depict the spatial feeling of large landscapes in an abstract way, and reinterpret natural elements. Sandra Poliakov is an artist based in Budapest. Using unusual color schemes, she reflects her visual and emotional experiences collected while living in several countries and traveling the world. Using only palette knives, she slathers frosting-like paint layer upon layer onto the canvas, with paint running off the edges resulting in a sculptural, three-dimensional appearance. Hello, I'm Kristen Laczi, Mother, Wife & Artist. My artwork is impressionistic and deeply inspired by motherhood, nature and life experiences. I primarily work in acrylic and watercolor and often bounce between the two, keeping things interesting and fresh. I paint quickly and intuitively. So much emotion and energy goes into these pieces that I often look back at a finished painting and wonder how it was even created. My process is a form of meditation, creating intense feelings of joy and peace. My hope is that my work provides my viewers the same feelings too.
