Description
A traditional Southeast Caucasus rug displays an intricate geometric composition dominated by a deep burgundy field with symmetrical star medallions in cream and gold throughout. Ornamental borders in red and cream frame the piece with repeating floral and geometric motifs, creating a richly layered pattern characteristic of classical Islamic textile artwork. At home in a study, library, or space celebrating global textile traditions. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
