A distinguished older man with wild hair sits on indoor steps wearing an oversized dark sweater and oversized slippers with a printed fuzzy texture, cradling a small animal in his lap with a composed, knowing expression. The photograph captures a moment of humorous contrast between his dignified bearing and the absurdity of the costume, rendered in rich black and white tones. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
