A richly detailed Persian miniature depicts Alexander the Great in ornate dress consulting with a dervish amid a lush garden filled with flowering trees, attendants, and animals. Gold leaf frames the composition while warm ochres, deep blues, and jewel tones create a densely layered scene of courtly meeting rendered with meticulous brushwork and intricate pattern throughout. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.
