Description
A fossilized ammonite spiral dominates this close-up composition, its pale grey-blue shell contrasting sharply against surrounding darker brown and rust-toned specimens. The layered, chambered geometry of the central shell echoes outward in concentric patterns, creating a mesmerizing sense of depth and natural mathematical precision. At home in a naturalist's study or a collector's gallery space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
