Description
Delicate pagodas, pavilions, and ornamental gardens float across a cream ground in soft rust-red tones, rendered in the intricate linework of classical toile de Jouy. The composition layers architectural structures among flowering branches and exotic foliage, creating a dreamy, rhythmic pattern that evokes 18th-century European interpretations of Eastern aesthetics. At home in a traditional dining room or a study lined with antique furnishings. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
