Description
Black and tan pottery vessels of varying shapes and sizes fill the composition, each decorated with geometric patterns including Greek key artworks, meanders, and intricate linear motifs. The vessels are arranged densely across a pale textured ground, creating a scholarly archive of classical forms rendered in deep charcoal tones that evoke ancient amphoras, kylixes, and kraters. At home in a study, library, or space celebrating classical history and design. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
