Description
Two small songbirds perch delicately on sparse, sketched branches against a cream background, their plumage rendered in precise watercolor with contrasting blacks, yellows, and greens. The composition balances botanical observation with ornithological detail, capturing each bird's distinctive markings and posture with the refined naturalism of nineteenth-century scientific illustration. At home in a naturalist's study or a collector's gallery of vintage ornithology. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
