A solitary maple tree towers upward against a pale sky, its canopy ablaze with golden-yellow foliage that dominates the composition. The trunk rises gray and resolute through the center while delicate branches extend outward, some bare and dark, others still crowned with warm autumn color, creating a study of seasonal transition.
