Description

A young deer gazes directly forward in this minimalist black and white portrait, its delicate ears alert and dark eyes luminous against a neutral ground. The pencil rendering captures fine details in the animal's features with a printed rendering of fur while maintaining a serene, almost meditative quality through its restrained palette and centered composition. Soft micro-twill, cut and sewn by hand into a rectangular cushion with a hidden zip, insert included and made to order. The lumbar piece that finishes a sofa or bed, carrying an independent artist's work instead of store-shelf filler.
