Description
Symmetrical rows of pale birds with spread wings face one another across a deep indigo ground densely patterned with foliate ornament in cream, rust, and teal. The composition repeats in horizontal bands, creating a rhythmic, almost textile-like effect that evokes the decorative arts tradition of the Arts and Crafts movement. At home in a traditional study, library, or eclectic gallery wall. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
